Houston police are investigating vandalism of city-owned property at the Houston Memorial Airport.

Officers found damage at the pilots’ lounge. Four panes in two separate windows were broken. In one window, an object had gone through it, causing damage to the inside screen and blinds. A piece of concrete about 4.5 inches in diameter was found inside.

In other matters, police:

-Arrested Edward A.J. Shukis, 18, of Raymondville, on a warrant charging him with having no valid operator’s license, careless and imprudent driving, resisting/interfering with arrest and exceeded posted speed limit. He was transporting to the county jail, and he was ordered to be held without bond.

-Cited Anthony D. Long, 28, 204 S. First St., with peace disturbance following a March 4 incident at Dollar General, where he had previously been banned from the store.

-Were called March 3 to the Tina Morton residence, 1023 Thomasville Road, where necklaces worth $68 were taken. The investigation is continuing.

-Arrested James K. Robbers, 36, of 14993 U.S. 63, on a Dent County warrant charging him with criminal non-support. He was unable to post $5,000 bond on March 4.

-Are investigating the theft of about $791 in items taken from the Doris Cornell residence at 104 Airport Road, Houston. Some of the articles were recovered from a local pawn shop. Police have a suspect.

-Cited Ronda L. Lee, 37, of Summersville, with disobeying an electric signal on March 1.
