Due to a tornado watch on Wednesday evening and cloudy conditions today, the City of Houston did not sound its severe weather sirens in conjunction with the statewide tornado drill today.
Art Thomas, emergency management director for the City of Houston, said the city will conduct its normal siren test, as usual, on the third Thursday of the month – weather permitting.
