The arrival of the spring growing season means the Houston Garden Club has relaunched its annual contest.
Winners in the lawn category are: William and Vera Gladden, 205 S. Hamrick, first; Rita Ruckert, 505 Hawthorn, second; and Lesa Kinney, 910 Hawthorn, third.
The business award went to Brad Eidson’s law office on 112 E. Main.
