Box tops program

Houston Elementary students will be collecting box tops next year to raise money for the district.

Community members are asked to begin saving the specially marked box tops and bring them to the elementary building when school begins in August. They may also be sent with an elementary student. Each classroom will have a container for the box tops.

The district will collect the box tops throughout the school year.

Box tops are found on hundreds of products at grocery stores. They are worth 10 cents for the school.

“Box Tops for Education” has contributed more than $300 million to participating schools since the launch of the program in 1996.
