Parents and students cross Bryan Street as they arrive Tuesday morning for the first day of school.

Students arrived at the Houston school district this morning as the 2010-’11 school year began.

On Wednesday, doors will open at Licking, Raymondville, Success and Summersville. Cabool and Plato begins classes Thursday.
