A Plato man was seriously injured in a crash Saturday night at Highway AW at Evening Shade, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
John W. Jones, 39, was driving a southbound 2008 Pontiac G6 that failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Jones was flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, said Tpr. Dale Pounds.
The vehicle was totaled. Members of the Roby Fire Department also responded to the scene.
