Delmar L. Wallace of Tarkio died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010.
He was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Houston, son of Arthur Lee and Sallie Ann Morton Wallace. He and Dora Lee Marrs were married Feb. 18, 1945. She died Nov. 1, 1992. He and Nina Balle were married in 1993. She died in 2002. He and Ethel Barnett were married May 18, 2002.
He attended high school in Houston. He and his wife, Dora, lived a short time in Houston before moving to Tarkio.
He was a farmer and raised livestock. He was also employed as a mechanic for Chuck Sheppard International. He was a member of the Tarkio Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; a sister, Dorothy McClasky; a brother, Raymond Wallace; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel of the home; two daughters, Betty Millsap and Cindy Lee of Tarkio; a son Phil Wallace of Darby, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Casey of Grapevine, Texas; a stepson, Larry Bill Taylor of Tarkio; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Wallace; four brothers; Roy Wallace, Jack Wallace, Tom Wallace and Don Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were Thursday, Sept. 9, at Davis Funeral Home in Tarkio. Burial was in Home Cemetery of Tarkio.
