Two Houston men were injured early Christmas Eve when their truck began sliding south of Licking, overturned and struck a tree.
Tpr. Logan Elliott said a northbound 2001 Ford F150 truck driven by Jeremy W. Carney, 38, was involved in the 3:40 a.m. accident about four miles south of Licking on U.S. 63.
Carney and a passenger, Joel L. Ross, 26, were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt, Elliott said.
The truck was totaled.
