Marlyn B. Drikow, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at his home.

He was born Jan. 9, 1934, son of Bernard and O’Linda Drikow.

He was a 1952 graduate of Roosevelt High School graduated in 1956 from Washington University. He was a Korean War veteran.

He was a long-time proprietor of Marlin’s Sports Shop in south St. Louis. He was owner of Marlin’s Distributing Company and Marlin’s Montauk Cabin in Salem.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis A. Drikow.

Survivors include five children, Kevin, Dawn, James, Roy and Gary; and five grandchildren.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservation Department or the National Wild Turkey Federation.
