The following are other matters recently dealt with by Houston police:
April 1
–Roger G. Hill, 54, of 116 Park St. in Houston, was issued citations for DWI, failure to drive on the right side of the roadway and operating a motor vehicle while license revoked following a traffic stop at about 11:50 p.m.
An officer made the stop after observing the maroon Ford pickup Hill was driving on Highway 17 cross the centerline multiple times. The officer smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety and portable breath tests.
Hill was taken to the Texas County Jail.
–Tiffany L. Fretueg, 18, of 8205 Northview #19 in Houston, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after she was observed attempting to shoplift a sheet and some pillow cases from Walmart at about 6:30 p.m.
April 3
–Zackary J. Kroll, 26, of 3722 Highway M in Cabool, was arrested at about 10:45 p.m. at a U.S. 63 business in Houston for having active City of Houston warrants for DWI and improper vehicle registration.
Kroll was taken to the Texas County Jail where he posted $509.50 bond and was released.
April 5
–Dawn M. Sikes, 33, of 205 W. Steffens St. in Houston, was arrested at her
home at about 5:15 p.m. for having an active City of Houston warrant for stealing under $500 and an active Texas County warrant for passing bad checks.
April 6
–Kristie L. Evans, 28, of 9770 U.S. 63 in Licking, was issued a citation for failing to drive on the right side of the roadway after a two-car accident on Oak Street at about 3:30 p.m.
Evans was ticketed after she backed the rental truck she was driving into another vehicle. She had been traveling east on Oak Street, stopped and began backing up in a westerly direction.
–Vanessa K. De Souza, 55, of 21049 Scenic Drive in Summersville, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after she was observed attempting to shoplift several items from Town and Country Supermarket in Houston at about 11:40 a.m.
April 9
–Mickey D. Brooks, 25, of 8124 Mineral Drive in Houston, was issued citations for peace disturbance and failure to obey after an incident at 12:34 a.m. in the Texas County Memorial Hospital emergency waiting room.
An officer was dispatched to the location regarding a domestic dispute there. Upon arrival, the officer observed Brooks yelling and cursing about his sister, who was also at the location.
The officer asked Brooks to step outside and then smelled alcohol on him. The officer told him to calm down and stop using profanity, but Brooks continued his tirade.
The officer then told Brooks he needed to call someone to come get him or he could be arrested for peace disturbance. Brooks refused.
After being handcuffed and placed in a patrol car, he continued his violent behavior, banging his head against the window and kicking, according to a report.
Brooks was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he continued to yell and curse. His court date is May 17.
