A Summersville man died from injuries sustained Tuesday when his truck struck a tree at Eunice.
Tpr. Myron Downey said a 1996 Dodge 1500 driven by Haribu R. Steward, 63, was traveling eastbound when he ran off Hunter Road (off Highway TT) while attempting to make a right-hand turn.
Steward, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View. He died about two hours after the 3:30 p.m. accident.
