A 33-year-old Plato man was arrested last week after being suspected of stealing a dirt bike valued at $1,200 from the Emery Road residence of a 36-year-old Houston man.
The incident began with an officer being dispatched on Jan. 17 to Flatrock Road residence in Plato regarding a reported domestic assault involving a gun.
When the deputy arrived, the scene had already been secured by two Missouri State Highway Patrol officers.
Investigation revealed that a fight between two men at the location had taken place over the stolen dirt bike. The bike was recovered, and a report was to be sent to the county prosecutor for charges.
