A Licking man faces multiple charges after a routine traffic stop Friday night led to the discovery of Hydrocodone, syringes and two handguns.
Michael Longrie, 35, is charged with possession of controlled substances, paraphernalia and weapons violations. He is being held in the Texas County Jail on a probation violation.
According to the Licking Police Department, an officer observed a Ford Mustang around 9:19 p.m. with an equipment violation and following too close to another vehicle. The officer initiated a traffic stop and obtained consent from the driver, Longrie, to search the interior of the vehicle.
During the search, the officer discovered the illegal materials.
