Two Houston teenagers were seriously injured in a four-vehicle accident last Wednesday afternoon in Cabool.
Isabellah Knarr, 16, remains in a Springfield hospital following the accident on U.S. Business 60. A passenger, Josephina Spauldin, 16, was treated in Springfield and later released.
A third person, Keith Edwards, 52, of Mountain Grove, was also seriously injured.
The Cabool Police Department said a 2002 Ford pickup with a trailer, driven by Andrew Koehn, 31, Mountain Grove, had stopped in the eastbound lane to make a left turn from Business 60 onto Parkway. An eastbound 1994 Jeep driven by Knarr swerved into the westbound lane to avoid Koehn’s vehicle and clipped the trailer, sideswiped a westbound 2004 Ford pickup driven by Brandon Ratterree, 30, Hartville, and hit Edwards’ westbound 2000 Ford Explorer head-on. Knarr’s vehicle rotated from the impact and struck the front of Koehn’s truck, police said.
