Jeni Dixon of Hartville was crowned Miss Texas County 2013 at Saturday’s annual Miss Texas County Scholarship Pageant.
More than 450 people attended the afternoon and evening shows inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds. Awards and scholarships given out during both programs totaled more than $2,000.
Kara Neugebauer, a junior at Houston High School, was crowned Miss Texas County’s Outstanding Teen. She and Dixon will compete next summer for their respective state titles in Mexico, Mo.
Morgan Lockowitz was the Miss Texas County runner-up. Madixon Horner was the outstanding teen runner-up.

––Tiny Miss Texas County: Katy Evans, winner; Bethany Willis, first runner-up; Allie Campbell, second runner-up; Kathy Tieu, third runner-up; Katy Evans and Halee Ammons, photogenic winner; Adyson Dailing and Bethany Willis, photogenic runners-up; Allie Campbell and Myka King, photogenic second runners-up.
––Little Miss Texas County: Emma Bell, winner; Samantha Bowin, first runner-up; Gianna Westlund, photogenic winner; Emma Ball, photogenic runner-up.
––Petite: Rylee Jaden Stell, winner; Betty Jo Roberts, runner-up; Morgan Farris, second runner-up; Destiny Peterson, third runner-up; Kimberly Bradshaw and Katelyn Fuwell, photogenic winner; Morgan Farris and Kacey Bradshaw, photogenic first runners-up; Isabella Rowen and Rylee Stell, photogenic second runners-up.
