Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.

The following are summaries of matters recently dealt with by Houston police:

Oct. 27

––Adam B. G. Clark, 22, of 16250 Robertson Drive in Houston, was arrested for having an active Shannon County warrant for no insurance following a traffic stop at about 1:25 a.m. on U.S. 63.

An officer made the stop after observing a green Ford Escort with a taillight not working. After making contact with the driver – Clark – the officer learned of the warrant through a routine computer check.

Clark was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he posted $300 bond and was released.

Oct. 31

––Timothy E. Sullins, 32, of 289 E. Highway B in Raymondville, was arrested for having an active Houston Police Department warrant for stealing under $500. An officer on foot patrol at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Chestnut Street made the arrest at about 7:10 p.m. after observing Sullins and being aware of the warrant.

Sullins was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he posted $1,000 bond and was released.

Nov. 2

––Rosann Marie Scheets-Hayes, 45, of 705 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was issued citations on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway after a traffic stop on Highway 17 at about 2:46 a.m.

An officer made the stop after observing the blue Oldsmobile Cutlass traveling erratically, according to a report. After making contact with the driver – Scheets-Hayes – the officer conducted a computer check and learned that her license was suspended.
