Community Crossroads Church in Raymondville will host “An Evening to Honor Israel” Wednesday at 7 p.m.
During the event, Rabbi Moshe Rothchild, who in 1994 was voted New York City’s funniest rabbi, will speak to attendees.
Rothchild and Community Crossroads Church pastor Dr. Tom Baggett are both active members of Teach Israel, an organization that connects Jewish rabbis and Christian leaders in support of Israel.
“With all the missiles that have been flying, and the threats against Israel, come find out from someone who lives near Bethlehem what is really going on in Israel,” Baggett said.
