John Anthony Salamone, 75, of Licking, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, in Rolla.
He was born Nov. 26, 1937, in St. Louis, son of Salvatore and Rose Salamone. He and Terry Mader were married Jan. 5, 1970.
He served in the Navy. He was a member of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department from 1963-’93.
He enjoyed spending time on his farm in Licking and with family.
Survivors include his wife, Terry; four children, Tony, Danielle, John and Vincent; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary, Catherine and Ann.
Services were Sunday, Feb. 24, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Kettner officiating. Burial was in Salamone Family Cemetery in Lenox.
