Albert Leroy Conner, 69, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Ozark Medical Center.

He was born March 17, 1944, in Summersville, son of Alfonso and Maudie Elizabeth Cooper Conner. He and Goldie Bettis were married Aug. 24, 1964.

He worked several jobs, including timber. He loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting, fishing and listening to hounds run. He enjoyed hauling scrap and drinking coffee with his friend, Jackie Brown.

He accepted the Lord as his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include two children, Tammy Conner Thomas of Eminence and Alberta Conner Pummill of Summersville; a brother, Truman Conner of Eminence; two sisters, Dorothy Conner of Summersville and Joyce Grammer of Georgia; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, March 30, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Jones officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Winona.
