Two persons were injured Saturday in a Texas County crash seven miles north of Mountain Grove on County Line Road, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Sgt. George Falterman said a northbound 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by Shane M. Walter, 17, of Mountain Grove, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left side of the road.
Walter and a passenger, Billy F. Scarbrough, 21, were to seek their own treatment.Â
Falterman said the vehicle was totaled. It was not known whether seat belts were worn.Â
According to the patrol, at 4:10 a.m. earlier in the day, Walter had been arrested for DWI and failing to drive on the right side of the roadway. He was taken to the Texas County Jail and later released.Â
