Terry Lynn Tomlin, 63, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Bastrop, Texas.
He was born May 4, 1949, in Cairo, Ill., son of Richard Jackson and Nancy Joan Tomlin.
He graduated from high school in Wickliffe, Ky., and soon after enrolled in college. He served in Vietnam from 1969-’71. He was honorably discharged.
He worked for years as a construction superintendent in Austin, Texas. He recently retired from Cash Construction. His last days were spent working on his farm, tending to the horses, cows, baling hay and spending time enjoying his family.
He enjoyed swimming and riding horseback with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; and an infant sister, Mary Jo Tomlin.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 41 years, Molly; two sons, Chad Tomlin of Smithville, Texas, and Chuck Alan Tomlin of Bastrop, Texas; his mother, Joan, of the home; four siblings, Rusty, Janet, Doris and Brent; and six grandchildren.
