She married Charles Lester Allen on June 13, 1942. They were married almost 48 years. Charles passed away on March 4, 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one granddaughter, Lori; and two half-brothers.

Maxine had given her life to the Lord many years ago. She loved to serve Him and always looked forward to time spent with her sisters and brothers in the Lord at church services or any activities associated with the church. She had a great love for her children, grand children and great-grandchildren. She always found time to be with them. These were treasured moments and she enjoyed each one.
Maxine had many interests. She loved music, could play by ear and had learned to play several different instruments. She enjoyed genealogy and could be counted on to come up with family history, names and events, when needed. She especially loved the out of doors, working with flowers, or just being able to sit and watch the sunset. Just being outside was a little closer to her Master.
Maxine was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandparent and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
