Sophomore Nathan Poynter had an eight-yard rushing touchdown in the Houston JV football team’s 14-6 victory last week against Cabool.
The Tigers (1-2) lost 18-0 Monday to Willow Springs.
The Cabool victory was the first-ever win for the freshman class at Houston Schools. The group was winless in middle school.
