The Ozarks PRC, which met at the Hayloft Restaurant for the past 12 years, has found a new meeting place in Mountain Grove at ConnXtion Entertainment Center on Business 60.
Bob Parker, co-chair of the PRC says, “We are thrilled to have found such a great new meeting place. We look forward to having room for more people and hope that anyone concerned with the direction of our country will come and work with us to retain and restore liberty.”
The PRC (Property Rights Coalition) has been working with various independent chapters of the PRC and other groups concerned with private property rights throughout the state of Missouri and across the nation on both local and national issues. PRC is a completely volunteer organization and not affiliated with any party, but the group is strongly dedicated to the principles of the US Constitution and believes the protection of private property is absolutely necessary for freedom.
The Mountain Grove PRC meets every fourth Thursday of the month, and this meeting will be the last Mountain Grove meeting of the year as Thanksgiving and Christmas prevent November and December meetings. Most recently, the PRC was at the forefront of the fight against the establishment of the White River National Blueway across twenty-one counties in Missouri.
The meeting on Thursday, October 24th, will focus on new land and water controls being brought by regulation and some aspects of the current financial crises.  Guest speaker at the meeting will be Ike Skelton (not the past Congressman) talking about the Ozark National Scenic Rivers and effects of the federal government shutdown in the area.
Meeting time is 7pm to 9pm, and you are encouraged to come early and enjoy the ConnXtion Restaurant or you may order during the meeting and have a late dinner with others after the meeting.  ConnXtion is just two blocks west of Hwy 95 on Business 60 in Mountain Grove. The meeting is free and open to the public.  For more information, you can visit the group’s website at www.prcnews.org.
