Terry Weslie Krewson, 71, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 28, 1942, in Rayondville, son of Delmus Eugene “Gene” and Delta Mae Keeney Krewson. He and Bobbie Faye Bailey were married Oct. 10, 1964, at First Baptist Church in Licking.
He attended grade school at Vollmar School and high school in Licking. He worked for Webber Construction in St. Louis and later worked for Holt Construction in Fairfax, Va. After returning to Missouri, he drove for Hadley Trucking. He worked for his dad at the Licking Auction while also farming. He ran an Order Buying business, TK Cattle Company. He purchased the Licking Auction Sale Barn and operated it for several years. His last endeavor was C & K Tractor.
He was an avid NASCAR van. He attended races at many different tracks. He also enjoyed boating, hunting, sports and travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Delma Jean Roper; and a grandson, Christopher Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie of the home; two daughters, Debra Lyn James of Houston and Tracy Brown of Springdale, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
Services were Thursday, Oct. 17, at Boone Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Parker officiating. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
