Vie “Corky” Upshaw II, 63, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born Nov. 18, 1949, son of Vie C. I and Ruth Wood Upshaw.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a retired carpenter and did many jobs both locally and nationally.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; a son, Daniel; three stepchildren, Brian, Stephanie and Eric; and six grandchildren.
A private memorial service is planned in the near future under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
