Greg Allen Davis, 26, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, following a motorcycle accident.
He was born Nov. 3, 1987, in Houston, son of John Paul Davis and Marla Kay Denton.
He attended grade school in Summersville and graduated from Mountain View/Liberty High School. He was active in sports during his school years.
He loved hunting, fishing, floating and weekends on the Current River with his friends and buddies.
He worked for Roberts Flooring Mill.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Marla Kay Denton of Summersville; his grandmother, Lucille Denton of Summersville; two sisters, Christina Pruett of Summersville and Kim Woodson of St. James; three nieces; two nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Janet Jackson, the Rev. John Atchison and the Rev. James Bradford officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery near Hartshorn.
