Pamela Chris Creech, 59, of Licking, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Dec. 5, 1954, daughter of Chris and Fern Mayberry Hassell. She and Michael Creech were married Oct. 6, 1995.

She worked 35 years at General Leonard Wood Army Hospital for before retiring in 2009.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, gardening, spending time in the summer sun and antiquing.

As a breast cancer survivor, she was an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Relay for Life, spending many hours fundraising with her G Ma Pam’s Rack Pack

She was preceded in death by her father.

She had a love for Christ as well as others. She was baptized in 1988 and rededicated her life in 2013. Because of her concern for others, she donated her body for science research.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Mike; her son, Ryan Smith, Matt Creech and Mason Creech; a daughter, Kassi Ramsey; her mother, Fern Hassell; 11 grandchildren; two sisters; Audrey Friend, Irene Lingo; two brothers; Wayne Kimrey and Gary Hassell; and many other family members and friends.

Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Church of Christ in Licking with Larry Tubbs officiating. Local arrangements were under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
