Theadore “Ted” Adams, 62, of Potosi, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Washington County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 13, 1951, in Houston, son of Dean Adams and Mildred Bridges Adams. He and Christie J. Turnbough were married Nov. 25, 1978.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Chris Adams of Potosi; a stepmother, Janet Showmaker of Potosi; three daughters, Kimberly Katzenberger, Taylor Adams and Andrea Walton of Potosi; two brothers, Dean Adams Jr. of Bonne Terre and Marvin Adams of Houston; two sisters, Brenda Adams of Webster Groves and Robin Essmyer of Potosi; a stepsister, Deborah Thompson Leo of Potosi; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were Friday, Jan. 17, at Potosi Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Isgrigg officiating. Burial and final prayers were in Redbud Memorial Gardens.
