Two persons were injured Thursday afternoon when a vehicle failed to negotiate a curve on ice-covered Highway H north of Cabool.
Tpr. Myron Downey said a 1993 Ford Ranger driven west by Frances L. Hanks, 72, of Elk Creek, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.Â
Two passengers, Kristen K. Hanks, 42, Elk Creek; Â and Amber R. Hopper, 38, of Springfield, were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, Downey said.
The driver was wearing a seat belt, and the passengers were not, Downey said. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
