The Big Creek bridge on Highway 17 will be reduced to one lane Monday and Tuesday for repair work following an accident there earlier this week.

Work on the bridge, also known as the ‘Yellow Cow’ between Highway 137 and Union Chapel Road, will be from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. The work zone will be marked with signs.

The bridge was closed four hours Monday following a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer. Traffic was diverted to Bear Claw Road while MoDOT officials inspected the bridge.
