Texas County authorities said last night that two teens who disappeared near Licking High School on Monday were found Wednesday night.
Sheriff James Sigman said a passer by notified his department after observing Nicole A. Allen, 14, and Cody Graves, 17, hiding in a ditch near Highways 137 and VV at about 10 p.m.
The two had reportedly been staying in an abandoned house since last being seen walking away from the school on Highway 137 near Reed Road at about 3:30 p.m. Monday. Sigman said they were returned to their parents.
Earlier: According to an advisory released late Tuesday afternoon by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nicole is 4 feet-11 inches, 130 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes, was wearing a pink camouflage coat, jeans, pink sneakers and glasses. Cody is 6 feet-one inch, 180 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes, wearing jeans and an unknown color T-shirt.
Both are special needs students who were last seen walking away from the school on Highway 137 near Reed Road at about 3:30 p.m. Monday.
