The Houston Middle School choir earned an “I” rating and received the ‘outstanding choir award’ last Thursday at the Strafford Tri-M Festival.
The choir, under the direction of Beth Williamson, performed “Cantate Domino!” and “Coming Home.” Members of the choir who competed are:
Eighth grade: Sydney Anderson, Adrianna Bard, Jaden Beasley, Becky Beck, Trenton Campbell, Carly Crawford, Abby Dzurick, Alexis Fuwell, Laney Fuwell, Vanessa Kirkwood, Skyler Kreitler, Rheanna Martin, Noah Moseley, Kaitlyn Root, Natasha Seurer, Phorona Thomas and Zeb Whitehouse.
Seventh grade: Brecken Adey, Rachel Arthur, Darby Bell, Alexsis Duarte, Summer Floyd, Autumn Gammon, Destany Lam, Tristan Lewis, Ally Morgan, Leah Otte, Jade Sisco, Lance Smith, Gracey Sullins and William Wilson.
Sixth grade: Callie Adey, Lucas Bailey, Kameron Hall, Bethany Hardwick, Abbie Hatton, Kelly Hubbs, Janae Huff, Faith Kennedy, Adryanna Kirn, Taylor Medlock, Bailey Moore, Shelby Ozier, Kim Tieu, Madyson Tune, Kayla Turner, Parker Ward and Baylee Weaver.
