The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.
•Matthew C. Homer, 18, of 5822 Highway 17 at Yukon, was arrested April 10 for having an active Texas County warrant for two felony charges – second-degree burglary and first-degree property damage. An officer made the arrest after recognizing Homer’s truck and stopping it on Thomasville Road.
Homer was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $150,000 bond.
•Dylan S. James, 21, of 16804 Johnson Branch Road in Houston, was arrested April 10 for having an active Texas County warrant for three felony charges – second-degree burglary, first-degree property damage and knowingly burning or exploding. An officer made the arrest after recognizing James’ truck parked on a lot on U.S. 63 between Casey’s and Corner Express.
James was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $200,000 bond.
•Timothy L. Casso, 26, of 506 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was arrested for having two active Texas County warrants – one for felony charges of receiving stolen property and driving while revoked or suspended, and another for felony charges of stealing a motor vehicle, theft of a credit device and driving while revoked or suspended, and misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit device.
An officer made the arrest at Casso’s residence and took him to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $350,000 bond.
On March 28, Casso was issued a citation for peace disturbance after an officer investigated a report of a man standing in a yard with a gun. The officer cited Casso after determining he had been seen brandishing a BB gun in his yard, and pointing it in the direction of U.S. 63.
•William B. Bounds, 46, of 731 Faye St. in Houston, was arrested April 1 for having an active Jefferson County warrant for a probation violation. An officer aware of the warrant arrested Bounds at his home and took him to the Texas County Jail to be held for extradition.
•Kolton C. Morgan, 17, of 14415 Piney Drive at Bucyrus, was issued three citations after an incident April 7 at a Mill Street residence.
A 50-year-old woman who lives there told an investigating officer Morgan had entered her home without permission and proceeded to cause a commotion. The officer was unable to locate Morgan at the time of the incident, but wrote the citations for later delivery.
The same officer reported that earlier the same evening, he had cited Morgan for minor in possession of alcohol at the woman’s brother’s residence, located next door to hers.
