A Willow Springs man was seriously injured Thursday when his vehicle made a U-turn in front of another driver, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Dale Pounds and Tpr. Mark Philpott said Lloyd E. Ebert, 58, was flown by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield following the 10:37 a.m. accident on Highway 181 about three miles north of Highway 76. He was driving a 1986 Honda.
The driver of the other vehicle — which was a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 — was not injured. He was identified as Patrick D. Moorhead, 37, of Cabool.
