An accident on Wednesday, April 9, injured a Michigan driver whose trailer-truck unit overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Michigan man was injured early Wednesday in a crash at Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Timothy B. Rushlow, 51, of Romulus, Mich., was driving a westbound 2013 International tractor with trailer that ran off the roadway, struck a sign and overturned at about 5:15 a.m.

Rushlow, who was not wearing a seat belt, was flown from U.S. 60 about one mile west of Cabool to Cox South in Springfield, said Tpr. Mark Philpott.

The unit, said Philpott, was filled with food products, which were not for human consumption. The Missouri Department of Health was notified.

The tractor-trailer had extensive damage.
