Houston police handled several investigations during the last week.

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:

•Officers responded just before noon Saturday to Splish Splash Car Wash in Houston where, Norma Troutman, 87, was pinned under a vehicle. HPD Chief Jim McNiell said Troutman was flown to Rolla and then to Columbia for treatment of injuries. The Houston Rural Fire Association Rescue Squad and other agencies also responded to the incident on South Sam Houston Blvd.

•Chad A Kirk, 28, of 727 Dooley St. in Houston, was arrested April 15 for having two outstanding Texas County warrants for drug-related charges. An officer who was aware of the warrants arrested Kirk after observing him walking near Cedar Street at about 7:15 p.m.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $600 bond.

•Heather E. Stanton, 36, of 211 S. Grand Ave., Apt. 103, in Houston, was arrested April 26 for having an active Houston municipal warrant for an assault charge. An officer arrested Stanton in the lobby of the Texas County Jail.

She was booked into jail and released after paying $22.50 bond.

•Dalton L. Hatton, 17, of 4824 Highway Z in Cabool, was issued a citation for third-degree assault after allegedly striking another student in the face during an incident May 1 at Houston High School. Hatton was also issued 10 days school suspension and released to his mother.

•Laken C. Pierce, 18, of 720 N. Cherry St. in Summersville, was arrested April 29 for having an active Howell County warrant for a probation violation. An officer arrested Pierce at the state probation and parole office and took her to the Texas County Jail pending transfer to Howell County.

•Jennifer N. Canfield, 28, of 811 Dooley St. in Houston, was issued three citations for failure to secure a child less than 8 years old in a child restraint or booster seat following a 5:20 p.m. April 20 incident on Mockingbird Road.

An investigating officer determined that three young children were riding unsecured in the back of Canfield’s Chevrolet Suburban and a 2-year-old girl had opened a back door and fallen out while the vehicle was going about 10 miles per hour. The child was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries to her chin, stomach, back, side and knee.

•A man and woman were both arrested April 29 for having active Texas County warrants for possession of synthetic marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested were Randall C. Redding, 25, of 1107 Julia Avenue in Mountain Grove, and Shyola J. Snelson, 25, of 1228 Highway 181 at Cabool. An officer made the arrests at Walmart while the two were being detained for another matter.

Both were taken to the Texas County Jail and held on $150,000 bond. Snelson also had an active Wright County warrant on similar drug charges.
