An Illinois man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in southern Texas County.
Tpr. Terry Nelson said an eastbound 1985 Honda motorcycle driven by Alec V. Brennan, 26, of Park Ridge, Ill., failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway and struck a rock-line embankment.
Nelson said Brennan, who was wearing a helmet, was flown from the scene by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. The motorcycle was totaled, he said. The accident was on Highway U, 13 miles north of Willow Springs.Â
