The Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Unit responded at about 10:35 a.m. with its rescue squad to an accident on Highway 32 about six-seven miles west of Licking.
A redi-mix truck overturned, and one person was trapped, according to authorities and a Herald reporter at the scene at about 11:30 a.m. A medical helicopter has landed in a nearby field.
At 12:10 p.m., firefighters were sought from Roby to aid at the scene. Licking’s department was dispatched earlier. Houston and Licking also sent additional personnel.
At 12:20 p.m. water and Gatorade was being sent to the scene to aid rescue workers.
At 1 p.m. additional equipment was being sought to perhaps lift the truck up.
