Houston Farmers Market and a dutch oven demonstration are planned today (July 4) at the Lone Star Plaza in Houston.
Members of the Texas County Dutch Oven Cookers Club will present a demonstration at the farmers market at First and Pine streets.
Chefs Jim Eckley, Jim Kidwell and Bob Roach will cook meat and produce provided by farmers market vendors. Eckley’s wife Vanessa, Kidwell’s wife Karen and Roach’s wife Wilma will provide support.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample.
