Voters in Burdine Township will be asked Aug. 5 to increase the levy for road and bridge purposes.
The proposal calls for the levy to increase from 31.34 cents per $100 assessed valuation to 50 cents. It is estimated that an additional $57,277 would be generated for road and bridge purposes.
A sample ballot will appear in next week’s newspaper.
