TIGER TIDBITS: Two players who carried the ball last season return for the Tigers. Kolby Walker, who had eight carries for 19 yards, has moved to center. That leaves Matt Knarr, who rushed one time for seven yards, as the lone running back who has a varsity carry. …The receiving corps is just as new. Tight end Austin Shock, who had one catch for 34 yards before a season-ending injury, is the lone holdover from last year. Walker had four catches for 47 yards. …Houston’s last season-opening victory was a 12-0 win in 2008 at Cabool under Chris Edwards.
