The Houston volleyball team outlasted Cuba in three sets Thursday night for its first victory of the season.
Senior Megan Silveus had nine kills and Camryn Sheets had 22 assists in the Lady Tigers’Â 25-20, 18-25, 25-17 road win.
Abby Casper had a team-best 19 digs for HHS (1-1), and Katelyn Martinez led the Lady Tigers with three of their eight blocks.
JUNIOR VARSITY: Sammy Garrett had three aces in the JV Lady Tigers’ 25-8, 25-21 loss Thursday night at Cuba.Â
