The Houston High School volleyball team is 0-2 in conference play following losses to Cabool and Ava.
Sarah Kelley had seven kills and Nora Dixon added five in last Tuesday’s 25-17, 25-20 home loss to the Lady Bulldogs.
Kelley and Alyssa Hayes had three blocks apiece for HHS (5-9).
Two days later, Kelley and Katelyn Martinez had six kills apiece in a straight sets loss at Ava.
On Sept. 11, Camryn Scheets had three aces in Houston’s 25-19, 25-12 victory at Conway.
Megan Silveus, Martinez and Hayes led HHS with four kills apiece.
JUNIOR VARSITY: Krista Scott had four kills in the JV Lady Tigers’ 25-19, 25-18 loss last Thursday at Ava.
Two days earlier, Chandra Hubbs had 12 assists in a 25-18, 29-31, 25-17 loss at Cabool.
