The Texas County Food Pantry will begin its annual coat giveaway program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its facility in Houston on Highway 17 just east of Sam Houston Blvd.
Director Bennie Cook said the pantry will continue giving away coats throughout the cold season. Donations of new or good used coats to be given away are accepted at the pantry during its regular hours, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
