The following reports were generated by the Houston Police Department:
•A 38-year-old Houston man came to the police station on Oct. 30 and reported prescription medication had been stolen from his Florence Street residence.
An investigating officer determined a 46-year-old Raymondville man had swiped the drugs. A report was sent to the county prosecutor seeking felony charge against the man of theft of a controlled substance.
The same Raymondville man was identified as a suspect in an investigation the previous day. He allegedly tampered with a woman’s vehicle at a Florence Street residence in Houston, letting the air out of the tires and causing it not to start.
A report was sent to the county prosecutor seeking charges against the man in that case, too.
•An officer investigated a report of assault at the Side Street Grill on Steffens Street at about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 26.
A 37-year-old man told the officer he had been punched in the face by a 21-year-old Cuba man after a 34-year-old Licking woman had confronted the man making the report and blamed him for killing another man. Witnesses stated the two men scuffled inside the establishment before the fight was broken up.
A report about the incident was sent to the city attorney.
