A two-vehicle wreck at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday blocked traffic in both directions on Highway 17 just east of Houston.
A mini-van being driven eastbound by a woman apparently crossed over the center line and crashed into a westbound pickup truck being driven by a man.
The man was uninjured, but emergency response personnel loaded the woman onto a stretcher and took her away in an ambulance.
