Authorities reported at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday two boys missing earlier in the evening near Licking had been found.
Several agencies were involved in the search in northern Texas County. The boys’ condition was not immediately known.
The Licking Fire Department, Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad and Texas County Sheriff’s Department were first involved in the search for boys, ages 8 and 9.
Authorities said they went missing at nightfall at 16301 Mitchell Drive, northwest of Licking.
At about 9:20 p.m., volunteers from the Raymondville and Roby Fire Departments were called to aid in the search. GPS equipment, generators and ATVs were brought to the site.
