An inmate housed at the South Central Correctional Center at Licking died Tuesday at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Pepper Coffman, 49, was declared dead at 1:24 a.m., officials said.
Coffman was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder, first-degree murder and second-degree arson from Douglas County. He had been in prison since Aug. 5, 1998.
