A memorial visitation for three of the victims of the Feb. 26 shootings in Tyrone was Saturday in Houston

The public visitation for Darrell Dean Shriver, Valirea Carline Shriver and Carey Dean Shriver was Saturday at Faith Fellowship. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Darrell Shriver, 68, was the owner of Shriver Companies Cabinet Shop, which he expanded to include general contracting. A 1964 graduate of Summersville High School, he taught briefly in Cabool before he began building houses and opened his own business. He was also a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Martha, who survived the Feb. 26 shootings.

Carey Shriver, 46, worked alongside Darrell in the family cabinet business and assisted with the farming. A 1987 graduate of Summersville High School, he was a carpenter, businessman, mechanic and truck driver.

Valirea Shriver, 44, was a native of Louisiana, Mo. She and Carey owned and operated Shriver Companies together with Carey’s parents.

Carey and Valirea Shriver are survived by two children, Kayla and John.
